The client are are into the Optical Business since 2 generations. Their brief was to have a modern showroom for an Optician where it caters to the all generations alike, should be vibrant and functional.

 

The narrow and long space provide a great challenge in design. Other functionalities included an Eye Testing area, a small workspace for working on spectacles, a staff lunch area and a pantry and a toilet.

A mix of Primary colors along with whites and wood have been used to provide a vibrant and an upscale feel to the showroom. The storage spaces have been custom designed and blended very well with open backlit display areas. The design provides a break from the stereotype design philosophy of an Optician Showroom. Now the selection of Spects and Glasses is more of an involving and an engaging activity.
